Daniel L. Chesler is a registered Commodity Trading Advisor and Chartered
Market Technician (CMT Level 3), with over fourteen years of industry
experience in the cash commodity, futures and options markets. Dan has been
recognized by MTA (Market Technicians Association) for original work into
the relationship between cycles, price volatility and classical chart
patterns. He has been quoted in Reuters, Bloomberg, Financial Times, and
Barron's on topics related to the commodity markets, and has been a speaker
on the subject of technical trading for Dow-Jones Telerate. His articles and
research have appeared in Technical Analysis of Stocks & Commodities
magazine, TradingMarkets.com, The Technical Analyst magazine (U.K.), the MTA
Journal and The Encyclopedia of Technical Market Indicators, 2nd Ed. Dan is
a Charter Member and serves on the Accreditation Committee of the American
Association of Professional Technical Analysts (AATAP). He holds Series 7,
63 and 3 registrations, and is a graduate of Babson College. Dan resides in
south Florida where he provides strategic technical forecasts for commodity
and financial markets to proprietary traders, risk managers and brokers.
Previously, Dan worked as a trader and price risk manager for the Louis
Dreyfus Group.
