Enrico Colombatto (1954) is Professor of Economics at the University of Turin, where he teaches Microeconomics and Economic Policy.
He is the Director of one of Italy's leading research institutes, the International Centre for Economic Research (ICER), as well as of the Centre for Law, Economics and Institutions (CLEI). His present research interests cover the economics of growth, development and transition from an institutional viewpoint.

Nach seiner Promotion an der London School of Economics besuchte Enrico Colombatto europäische und amerikanische Universitäten: u.a. in Oxford, Aix-Marseille III, Reims, Cornell, Paris. Für mehrere Regierungen war er als Berater, besonders im Rahmen der Finanz- und Währungspolitik und des Außenhandels tätig.
Enrico Colombattos Interessen gelten hauptsächlich der Ökonomie des Wachstums und des Übergangs, vornehmlich unter institutionellen Gesichtspunkten.
